This is an update on the earlier story Bounty Hunter Shot and Killed in Riverside, California

On December 3, 2019 at approximately 7:10 am Bounty Hunters arrived in the area of a hotel located in the 24000 Block of Sunnymead Blvd, in the City of Moreno Valley to attempt the arrest of Chad James Green. The bounty hunters attempted to establish contact with the occupants and were met with gunfire. One of the bail agents, James “Jim” Black, was struck by a bullet and others on scene immediately began to render aid. The Riverside Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and assisted with first aid until medics arrived. James Black was transported to the hospital where all life saving attempts failed and he was pronounced dead.

The suspect, Chad James Green, has been identified by the Riverside Sheriff’s Office as the primary suspect and is considered armed and dangerous. Green fled the scene and his location is currently unknown.
